Text not visible in OE

Text is not visible in OE: for instance, if you send a
message and then view it in sent items, there is no
text;however, the message arrives normally on another
machine. All incoming mail is not visible. Any ideas out
there; all critical updates and SP1 applied. No spyware or
detected viruses. Thanks so much!

Several possible fixes.

Go to: Start>Run>Type in: regsvr32 inetcomm.dll - Press: Enter.

If that doesn't solve it:

In OE: Go to Tools>Options>Read>Fonts: Change the default encoding
setting to Western European (ISO). And in IE: Delete the Temporary
Internet Files, including all offline content.

Hi Bruce,
Thanks for the tips on Oe problem. Interestingly
the the regserv fix seemed to cure the problem; however,
upon reboot, no text. I applied other recomendations up
to the point of reinstalling OE with no change. I am
considering the restore option before reinstalling. Any
comments? Thanks to all that reply!
 
Run AdAware and SpyBot. If you don't have them, get them, there free.
I don't have a download address, but a simple search will find them.
The blank preview pane just started last month. For most, the fix was
enough, but a few had to debug. Afterwards, the first fix held.
