Not sure how to word this but it drives me nuts. Whenever i enter something into the search line on explorerer, a menu opens up listing all the previous searches performed beginning with the initial character of the new search.....hope that one makes sense. it is distracting and just plain irritating. is there a way of turning that off?

thanks

dan

If you mean "Autocomplete", then

In Internet Explorer - on the menu-bar
| Tools | Internet Options |
/Content\, Under "Personal Information",
[AutoComplete...] and [My Profile...]

Also on /General\, "History" [Clear History]
