For some reason, unknown to me, whenever I start a new document, my first
line of my text starts halfway down the page. The page setup is set to .75
on Top and bottom, there are no headers or footers. It's a clean page.

I can't figure it out.... Please... help!!!

Go to File > Page Setup > Layout. Change the Vertical Alignment dropdown from
Center to Top, then click the Default button and OK.

Open a single blank document, then:

File > Page Setup... > "Layout" tab > "Page" section > Vertical Alignment: >
Top

and then click on "Default..." (Bottom left corner)
Close Word, if it asks you if you want to save changes to Normal.dot, say
Yes.

Did this fix it?
