text linking across pages

I need to insert a large graphic or a big table that occupies one or more
pages in the middle of a document. I have to create a section for this in
order to modify the page orientation. Now that I expect the text to flow from
the last page before this section to the first page after it, ie, I expect
the paragraph breaks across the sections. I don't seem to know how to do it.

I may be able to get around this without the section breaks. But the frame
or textbox that holds the graphic or table would need to anchor on a line
break on the same page. Can I locate it on one whole page but anchor its
location by referencing to the one before?

Any ideas?

Word cannot automatically wrap text around a full-page graphic,
table, or object. Word cannot automatically wrap text around a
multi-page table. An individual graphic, object, frame, or text
box must fit on one Word page... these items cannot span multiple
pages. An individual graphic, object, frame, or text box must be
anchored to a paragraph on the page where the item appears... an
item appearing on one Word page cannot be anchored to a paragraph
