Text in Windown Mail is partially red when when bold

The text in Windown mail is partially red when bold. Text in all other
applications appears OK.
 
Not sure what could cause that, but try turning ClearType off.
Go to Start, Help and Support, and enter ClearType in the Search Help bar.
