Hi!

The text of web pages displayed in IE 6.0 appears in
Italic for some reason. My pc recently contracted a Trojan
virus but I have managed to remove the infected file
(which was a useless spyware file)

Any help in turning text characters back to normal?

Thanks

Hi Azeem :)

Try the following and see if it helps:

Click on View on the Toolbar. For the text size, select Text Size, then
medium is usually the default. For the font, select Encoding. Western
European (Windows) is usually the default.

If these steps do not resolve your problem, please post back to this thread
with the details and any error messages.

Hope this helps

Hi,

I'm having the same problem and have tried what you've suggested but to no
avail. I've looked in Internet Options under Fonts which says Times New
Roman yet on certain Web Sites (ie. Yahoo) all of the text that is not in a
header on the webpage or Windows displays as if it were Arial Itallic.

I'm running XP Pro with SP2 and have not changed any settings. I've
installed a program, then uninstalled it using Add/Remove Programs and it was
after the un-install that IE started behaving this way.

Any ideas? Reading everything in Itallics is driving my nuts.

Thanks in advance.
