Text in a Cell

I currently have the Wrap Text feature on in the cell I am
typing. My question is is it possible to have the cell
auto resize itself vertically to fit the text entered so
that it's all visible when not selected or do I just have
to do it manually?

on the cell or mutiple cells right click and format cell

then use alignment tab and click the word wrap box
