Text/font size doesn't change

Hi,

I can't get the text size changed in Windows Vista Movie Maker at Ttitles
and credits.
In the menu Change text font and color, I used to be able to increase or
decrease the text/font size by clicking the the 2 buttons.
But when I now push the buttons the buttons do respond, but the text size
does not change. I tried changing the font type, cursif/bold/underline,
transparancy, and of course restarting the computer.

Does anyone know a solution for this problem? The current text size is way
too big.

Could the problem be, because I added a text animation before all the
pictures, causing Movie Maker to uphold that size?

Dear John,

thank you for your reply.

I do not know if the problem occurs with other projects. Simply because I do
not dare to close my current project. I am working 3 days non-stop on my
niece's wedding video, and had to restart 4 times at some point all from
srcatch, because things got corrupted...

I sort of solved the tex font size problem by using the 2 lines text Titles.
The lower line is in a smaller font size.

But now I got another major pain in the... problem. 2 times right after
another, when I click the timeline to split a sound file, the timeline starts
scrolling to the end. And that can take up to 2 hours... It just happened
again.

It could be because of my project becoming too complex. It has now 2 hours
of video, pictures and titles+textual comments. I am halfway putting music in
between. As last I planned on adding effects on the pictures to make the
slideshows more smoothly.

But it is so frustrating that it keeps on jamming up somehow.

Anyway, I will post my problem about auto scrolling in different post, since
it is about another kind of problem.

I think your project is definitely way too complex
and you may have issues when you try to save
it as a movie.

Also you may be reaching the limits of your
system resources. A crash or freeze could
occur if you continue to add additional
elements to this project.

You may find that you have to create several
smaller projects to get this task completed.

Also, you want to be sure your source files
are compatible with Movie Maker...the following
articles may be worth a look:
