Blank screen in place of titles

Hi
whenever i make a movie and decide to use titles or credits, i manage of get
a dull grey blank screen in place of the text which i have entered. I tried
changing the colour font etc etc but to no avail. My movie maker is version
5.1. Can any big fish out there in the big sea of computing help this
little'un out??

Version 5.1 is the windows version, go a little further down the pop up box
toget the MM version.

Check your file types first in case they are causing trouble, see this page
