Text Disappearing

I am having a wierd issue with a user. Any webpage he goes to, the moment
there is a letter r in the text (lower case only) the remainder of the line
disappears. So: "For new click here!" Would read "Fo"

As well, when in Microsoft Office 2003 (Outlook, Word.. doesn't matter) if
he is typing anything, the moment a little r is encountered the entire line
disappears but not the line above or below it. Anything typed after the r is
hit on the line, also does not display.

Notepad is the same.

So Typing: "This is a very" everything will show normally until he the r and
then it all goes blank.

A virus scan has found no problems. Spyware has also not been found.

Anything to help would be great. Thank you,

I would suggest starting with clearing out all temporary files and
rebooting. Temp files can have strange effects.

I've found that the built-in cleanup tools don't work very well, but I have
had good results with ccleaner: www.ccleaner.com .
