Text Creeping up Out of Text Box - Part 2

Hello - I'm hvaing the same problem as Vito in his post entitled Text
Creeping up Out of Text Box (I've appended it at the bottom), except that I'm
using Powerpoint 2003 and it's happening in new presentations I'm trying to
create, as opposed to already existing ones. I tried the fixes suggested
for him, and none of them work. Does anyone have any other suggestions?
I've tried everything I could think of within PowerPoint: adjusting the
autoshapes, the text boxes (happens in both), the margins, the defaults. I
even tried putting a text box on top of an autoshape - the same problem
occurred. I'm terribly frustrated and need to get these presentations done!
Thanks so much for your help!

Vito's post:
I have been using some Power Point Presentations for a long time and never
had a problem with one of them. For some unknown reason everyone of them is
now having this issue where the text is cut in half when looking in a Slide
Show presentation mode and when looking at in Normal View it looks like the
text has lifted itself out of the text box. What have I done or what can I
do to fix this problem. I am hoping someone has had the same issue and can
help with this. I don't want to have to manually update every slide on every
presentation I use. I have tried from several machines and looked at backed
up copies with the same results.

Steve -
Yes, thanks... that's what I tried. I installed the test printer driver
per the site instructions. I also tried changing my default printer,
deleting all the extra printers, and updating all my printer drivers. (I
have several printers installed, including the virtual printers for Adobe pdf
& something called RDI virtual printer.) Every printer except the default
was set to "offline". The problem still exists.
Thanks.

No, I'm afraid that didn't do it either. If anyone else has any other
suggestions, I'd appreciate hearing them. I guess for now I just won't be
able to use text boxes or shapes in my presentations.

Thanks.
Toni
