I am still confused . . . I tried to click off "absolute"
but then the test box moves. i want to be able to place
the text box anywhwre on the page and have the text stay
within the text box once it is published. The other part
of this that confuses me is that it only does this on some
computers...on others it looks the way it should. Any
ideas??? Thanks a bunch.

As suggested you can avoid this issue by using tables to structure your page
layout, if you want you pages to look basically the same for all users.

When you use absolute positioning, it depends on the browser/version and the
screen resolutions of the machine the site is being viewed.
