Text Autofit Not Working in 1 document

I have a document where the text Autofit feature is not resizing the text in
the main text boxes in PowerPoint 2003. I checked Tools | Autocorrect
Options | Autoformat as You Type, and it is set to Autofit body and title
Text. It does work properly for the Title boxes at the top of the pages,
just not for all the other text boxes.

If I create a new document, I don't have the problem. It seems to be
confined to the text boxes in this particular document. I had edited it in
PowerPoint 2007 on another computer, if that could have corrupted it in some
way.

I need to get Autofit Text to work again in this document.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Colin

The options for text resizing are different in 2007 and can be applied to
individual placeholders not just the whole presentation. I guess you've
accidently applied "Don't resize"

You can't directly undo this in 2003 as that option doesn't exist

Try this:
Highlight all the affected text in a placeholder and cut it. Now select the
placeholder itself and press DELETE

A new placeholder may appear if not apply the layout again

Put the cursor in the placeholder and paste

Does that sort it?

Yes that does work. Thanks!

It doesn't exactly solve my problem though. I wanted to apply a fix across
the whole presentation, so as I make minor edits slides that happen to
change their length, I don't need to do an operation like that every time.

Thanks anyway. That does help and is pretty quick.
