Text alignment in Text Box in 2007 using 2003 file

When I open a PowerPoint 2003 file with text boxes in PP2007 the text
alignment in the boxes are centered and high and almost outside the "box".
If the box was shade, the shading is with the "box" but the text is above and
almost outside. I tried to edit the properties and align the text at the
bottom; however this had no effect. How do I fixed the issue and get the
aligned at the bottom of the box or middle or where ever when opening a file
that was created in 2003?

IMHO that is not caused by creation in PPT 2003. My guess is that a local
standard printer is missing on the computer with PPT 2007. Please install a
printer driver of a newer printer model as the local standard printer
driver. (This printer need not be attached.)

Best regards,
Ute
