Will everyone who has installed Windows XP SP3 try to do an internet search
(as if to find something) and post results please. Success or failure. Thank
you.

Not sure I follow you. I just searched for 'mickey mouse' in google in
IE7 and got tons of hits. But then that has nothing to do with SP3
does it?!!

Thanks for the response Al. I had what I thought was a perfect computer. Not
a single burp since new. Installed SP2 and all updates. No problems ever.
Then I installed SP3 and cannot do an internet search. Complete hang. Power
off was only remedy. I uninstalled SP3 and everything is back to normal. I
was attempting to determine if this was common.
Thanks again.

What a stupid comment. Anyone here use their real e-mail address?

I re-installed SP3 and everything works. This is the first problem I've had
with my computer.
I'm also using IE7. Considering the downloads I've done, IE7 for example
plus all the updates
it's fantastic.

Are you really and truly that ignorant?

What is "real"? An email that is traceable to an Internet account.
Might not be someone's every day email address, but it's REAL.

Yours isn't.

ROFL!!

You still trying to impress someone?

Bite me "(e-mail address removed)"

Only a coward posts from an untraceable email address.

You're starting to sound like "Bill in Co."

But I know you're not. He lives in Colorado, and you live in or near
Batavia IL.

At least he's not a sheep and can think for himself.
