Terminal_Server_Driver_Made_Incorrect_Memory_Reference

PLEASE tell me someone can help me with this one. I've got ATI blaming MS for
an issue that only affect ATI cards.

When I remote into one of my workstations (via either SBS-RWW or WXP-RD) and
then end my session, sometimes the remote computer Blue Screens with the
following:

.... caused by the file ati2dvag.dll.
Terminal_Server_Driver_Made_Incorrrect_Memory_Reference
STOP 0x000000CF etc...

This happens intermittently - just enough to be really frustrating. It also
seems to happen more often when the remote computer is rebooted (either
specifically or by something that was being installed and wanted a reboot).

Now, I took one of the systems that was having the problem and upgraded it
to Vista Business. That box religiously has the problem any time I switch
between local use and remote use. I can use it all day at work, go home and
remote into it and it blue screens, reboots, and I can use it fine. When I go
back into work the next day and try to log on locally, it blue screens,
reboots, and then works okay as well.

I've talked to ATI about this and they say it's Microsoft Terminal Services
not talking to their driver correctly (the ati2dvag.dll file is their core
driver file). I can quote them as saying "As I have said, we decline to
support this issue. This is not an ATI issue." They told me to talk to
Microsoft about it. I don't know how it can be a Microsoft issue when it
doesn't happen to our nVidia or Intel-based boxes - only the ATI ones.

I'm using the most current Catalyst drivers for this card (Radeon 9250 -
Catalyst 6.5 - anything higher doesn't recognize the card). I've got all my
MS patches installed on both the XP (Pro) and Vista boxes. I don't know what
else to do but replace the cards (20-30 of them) but we just bought them in
November, so they're not even a year old.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

-Dave
