STOP CF error in ati2dvag.dll on shutdown

Hello,

I have a Dell Dimension E521 PC equipped with an ATI Radeon X1300
256MB PCIe video card. The OS is Windows Vista Home Premium. I would
use the supplied Vista WDDM drivers. However, those drivers do not
support full screen CMD sessions. With that said, I downloaded the
latest Windows XP video driver from ATI's web site. These allow the
full screen CMD session with no problem.

However the problem I'm running into is when the machine is shut down,
I get a BSOD (STOP 000000CF) error, which points to ati2dvag.dll.
Stop CF error is
TERMINAL_SERVER_DRIVER_MADE_INCORRECT_MEMORY_REFERENCE.

I have contacted ATI about this. They understand my situation, but do
not support cross OS driver installation. They suggested trying
another ATI2DVAG.DLL driver to try to fix this issue.

Are there any other things I could try to resolve this problem?

Thanks.
