Terminal server session random disconnections

Howdy all
I have a Win2K (SP2) running Terminal server in Application Mode located in our main office. I have a couple of XP PRO client machines sitting in a branch office. The offices are connected via a SHDSL 1MB/1MB TLAN (Private) Network. The offices are connected by two Fortigate FG100 series router/firewalls.
The XP machines can connect without any problem to the Win2k server however on when the session is left idle, usually for around 5 minutes, the Terminal Server sessions disconnect and in most instances the message saying that there was a network error appears. I have checked all group policies to check that Idle sessions are not disconnected. I have a feeling that the underlying network is the problem, however I want to eliminate any other possibilities. Anybody got any ideas??

Have you checked that it is not the router that is
coursing the problem? Some routers can disconect if there
is no network trafic accessing the Net.
