If all your clients are Windows XP Pro, then you don't
need to buy any additional TSCALs. First of all, make
sure you have enough CALs on your server. Second, Install
the TS Licensing service on your DC. Last, actiavte the
license server. You should be good to go.

First of all, I appreciate the quick response and that
did answer my question.
I seem to have a problem though. When I tried to switch
my server from "Remote Administration Mode"
to "Application server mode", it told me that almost all
of my current apps already installed on the server would
not, or might not, work properly. Also, I have read
several post that say that your server's performance is
greatly decreased when you run in the application mode.
This server runs a ton of stuff from SQL to GIS as well
as several databases that my users connect to. Is this
really something I need to do or should I tell the third
party that is asking me to do this that they need to find
another solution? The server is an HP LH6000 733 Dual
Xeon with 3GB of Ram.
A company we deal with said their software would run
faster in Terminal Services but our users already run the
program from a shortcut off the server that is pasted on
their desktop. I believe the company is just trying to
find excuses for limitations of both their programmers as
well as their software. Would you think I would see that
much of a difference?
The long and the short of the matter is, will my apps
have to be reinstalled and will my servers performance
decrease dramatically or at all in application mode?

-Thanks
