Terminal Server Drive Mapping

Hi,

I'm trying to redirect the local drive in a termserv
session. I've configured the remote desktop client and
have enabled Disk Drives. On the server itself in Terminal
Services Configuration and in properties of RDP-TCP and
Client Settings tab, the "drive mapping" is grayed out.
any ideas?

I guess you are running W2K on the Terminal Server? Drive redirection
is not natively supported under W2K, that's why it is greyed out.
You'll need an add-on like Citrix, or upgrade to Windows 2003.

As an alternative, check out TSDropCopy from

Hi Vera,


Just wondering what kind of user security it required to
get TSDropCopy working properly. It works just fine for
anyone with administrator privilages. All others return
with following error: "unable to get stats on file". I
can't seem to find any contact info on their website.
Anything you could provide me would be appreciated.
