I created a template in PowerPoint 2002. I moved it into the same folder with
the other design templates, but it doesn't show up unless I click browse in
the design template pane.

How can I make my template appear as a thumbnail with the other templates
that were created by Microsoft?

Hello Jane and Echo S.

Jane's problem is exactly my problem. I checked out the recommendation Echo
S. I followed the directions but when I click on the design template in the
task pane the template I placed in the folder does not show up even though I
see it in the folder when I look in windows explorer. Does anyone have any
ideas? Thanks very much.

You'll need to use the Browse button at the bottom of the task pane to locate
and select the template.
