I am trying to become more familiar with the templates and I thought it would
be a good idea to re-create some of the the default templates to enhance my
knowledge

I have looked at Design Template, Soaring presentation, and wonder if someone
could tell me how this has been created. I can reproduce the arc shape from
the top left hand corner which goes right down to the bottom right-hand
corner (over the shape), but I cannot reproduce the arc attached to the shape
at the bottom right-hand corner - despite rotating trying to re-shape, etc.

Would much appreciate any help as I am tearing my hair out!!!

If your looking at the same "Soaring" design template as I am it is nothing
more than a background image that is giving the effect.

Mine doesn't appear to be a background image. If I go into the Slide Master
I can ungroup the shapes, recolour, etc.

I didn't have it on my system and downloaded a copy from Microsoft. Must be
different than the one you have. If you want to send me a copy of yours, I'd
be more than happy to have a look at it. My email is (e-mail address removed)
