Once you've explored the databases sufficiently to understand how they work,
it makes sense to get rid of all the sample data so you can use it with your
own data.
To do that, I'd probably go with this plan.
I can't remember, but it seems like the template is a single file with all
data in one mdb. And I'm also assuming that this is the A2003 version.
1.Make a copy of the NWT mdb and give it a name that will make sense for
your business.
2. Create a new, empty mdb. Give it the same name, but append _BE to it.
3. Then open your new Back End. Select File--> Get External Data --Import.
4. FOllow the prompts to select the new mdb you created for yourself.
5. Make sure you select the option to import the tables WITHOUT data. To do
that, click on the "Options" button on the import dialog. Then select
"Import Tables-->Definition Only".
6. When all of the tables have been imported into your new BE, you can go to
the new Front End you created, delete all of the tables in it, and relink to
the tables in your new BE file.
