Template not Updating attached pages

Hello
I have been using the new template feature in FP03 and have made several changes to the template and when updating, FP goes through the updating procecess and says that it has successfully updated all the pages however when I open the pages, nothing is updated???

I have saved the template file prior to attempting to update the pages as well as saved each page after the update. Also have closed FP and opened it again with no luck

Please help
Thanks

Are you working with a disk-based (c:\..) or server-based (http://) web locally?

Hi-
I'm having the same problem. (I posted above but no
real solutions as of yet.) I'm using a disk-based web and
it shows the log of everything being updated but nothing
really changes. I've tried the Http method and with that,
nothing happens at all when I save the template.
Thanks...I'll be looking in,....Brightbelt

Have you run Tools | Recalculate Hyperlinks?

It's a disk based (on an external hard driive) site and then publishing to a hosting acct.

Have you opened your site in FP and tried Tools Dynamic Web Templates - Update All pages

Correction should have been:
Format Dynamic Web Templates - Update All pages

Hi Brightbelt here-
I thought I'd add some perhaps useful info - before I
was trying to change cell/table height sizes (in pixels)
and nothing happened - still no progress there. I have
just now tried other changes on my templates (eg,
different alignment of photos in table cells) just to
experiment and the pages DO get updated correctly. So
maybe this has something more to do with FP's handling of
tables than the templates per se ? I don't know, but
thought I'd add this data. Thanks,...Brightbelt

Yes, I have tried to use the menu to update as well as bringing the toolbar onto my workspace and try updating all pages, and no luck. It still says that its updating and returns an updated log but no pages are changed. I dont know why this is happening and I have a deadline to meet!

Yes.
I have tried to work in the live version as well as the disk based version and still it does not update!

Are you sure that you have applied a dynamic web template and not just a template?

You can not update the DWT on the live site, unless hosted under Windows SharePoint Services, as the
dynamic web template automatic update function doesn't work under the FP2002 extensions you would
have to manually update each page under the FP extensions.. You can only automatically update it
local when running a disk-based web.

Are you changes in the editable or locked regions of the template?

Only changes made to the template in the locked regions will update in the
pages that use the template.
