DWT's Don't Update Attached Pages Like I Expected

I have a Windows 2003 Server Running IIS 6 and FP Extensions 2002. I have
created a dwt file, and attached to 5 pages manually (one by one). Now when
I went to change the dwt file it didn't prompt me to update the attached
pages.

From what I understand, it is supposed to prompt me to update those attached
pages when I make a change on the dwt file or, as the help file says, I
should be able to open the dwt, make the change and the I can go to
Format->Dynamic Web Template->Update Attached Pages. I tried that also, but
the only options I have are "Attach Dyanmic Webpage Template" or "Manage
Editable Regions". All the other options are disbaled (greyed out).

Any help I can ge to make this work would be great. This will be applied to
a few thousand pages and I can't see myself trying to update them manually.

There is a hot fix for this that you have to request and install.
