Template macro buttons

I'm trying to create macros (with buttons) in a template that we load at
startup. The only option for storing a macro button is in the Quick Access
bar. Unfortunately, the user settings for the quick access bar seem to
override the template settings and the button is nowhere to be found.

I'd like it if there was a way for the users to not have to do anything
repeatedly (like add or import the macros everyday when they open Word).

Any ideas anyone?

Nevermind...I answered my own question. for anyone who wants to know:

There appears to be (what's seems to me ) a new option when saving the macro
"for use in documents based on the template". It's in the dropdown.
