Are there Excel Template files that get installed with the OfficeXP install
that would contain VBA in some type of Excel application.

Yup there are some files... In the Office directory
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\

there are a couple of places to look. Samples has some and Library
(xla's)... there could be more...
