Temperatures

Hello,

I did isolate my Cooler Master Stacker because the much noise that my
system did make. Now i'm a insertion if the temperatures are good, in
other words if there is enough airflow. I'm not a hardware geek or
overclocker so I don't have the knowledge what are good temperatures.

System:

CPU: DualCore AMD Athlon 64 X2, 2000 MHz (10 x 200) 3800+
Motherboard Name: DFI nF4 Series
Motherboard Chipset: nVIDIA nForce4, AMD Hammer
Video Adapter: NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GT (256 MB)
Disk Drive: Maxtor 6L250S0 (250 GB, 7200 RPM, SATA)
Disk Drive: WDC WD360GD-00FLC0 (36 GB, 10000 RPM, SATA)

Temperatures (45 min idle running, ambient temperature 21°C) :

Motherboard: 38 °C (100 °F)
CPU: 36 °C (97 °F)
North Bridge: 42 °C (108 °F)
GPU: 42 °C (108 °F)
WDC WD360GD-00FLC0: 34 °C (93 °F)
Maxtor 6L250S0: 39 °C (102 °F)

Cooling Fans:
CPU: 1164 RPM
System: 1795 RPM
Chipset: 3125 RPM

If the ambient temperature raise to 31 °C then the system
temperature's increase to about MB 46 °C and NB 48 °C, the highest
values.

TIA

Those temperatures are just fine.

Athlons are dead at 85-90C, not stable above 70C. Your temperatures are
well below that.

Thanks Paul, i'm reassured ;-)

These temperatures seem fine, but check how far these values rise when under
load, as they will necessarily be significantly higher.

Thanks Gregory,

After 30/45 minutes playing UT2003 with a ambient temperature 34 °C

Temperatures:

Motherboard: 53 °C (127 °F)

CPU: 42 °C (108 °F)

North Bridge: 53 °C (127 °F)

GPU: 57 °C (135 °F)

WDC WD360GD-00FLC0: 45 °C (113 °F)

Maxtor 6L250S0: 49 °C (120 °F)

Cooling Fans:

CPU: 3245 RPM

System: 2312 RPM

Chipset: 4821 RPM

I hope these are also good ;-)

Still OK. Though I don't suggest playing Unreal in 90 degree heat.

Thanks Paul, Yep to warm to play UT ;-)
