Temperature degree symbol

How can I get a temperature degree symbol, using the standard keyboard? (120
degrees F) Like a small o but higher up.

Ctrl+@, Spacebar. That is, press Ctrl and @ at the same time (you will
probably have to use Shift with another key to get @), then release both and
press the spacebard.

Although g-n-o describes this as Ctrl+Shift+2, Spacebar, it's possible that
@ may not be a shifted 2 on your keyboard.
