Temp internet files

I have got into a routine of regularly deleting my temporary internet files, using disk clean-up. I use the internet on a daily basis, however in the last 2 weeks there have been no temporary internet files to delete whatsoever. Although this saves me a job, i am wondering what has happened to cause this?

Any ideas/advice much appreciate

Maybe you have checked, empty Internet Temporary Files when closing,
on Internet Options > Advanced Options, security.
