Temp files not being deleted

Hi all, TIA!

I have a user that is constantly in Access and it leaves temp files in the
following locations:

c:\Documents and Settings\[username]\application data\microsoft\access
and
c:\Documents and Settings\[username]

The files are named prf##.tmp and are a couple MB each. The problem with
leaving them tehre is that we use roaming profiles which are limited to 20MB
per user. This regularly puts the user over her max profile space which them
has to be rectified before a user can log off. Any suggestions are always
appreciated!

this is only a guess; do you have the DB set to auto compress & repair on
close of database? this might be a solution - in any case it is a good
practice to invoke in general.....
