Telnet port timeout

Does anybody know if microsoft has a timeout on the telnet
port? And is there away to adjust it maybe in the registry
so that it doesn't timeout?

I think it's a telnet server setting rather than a port setting.

Check the explanation of "tlntadmn" timeout setting commands in these
WinXP docs:
<http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/winxppro/proddocs/telnet_commands.asp>

The version of tlntadmn in my copy of Win2K Pro does not appear to
support this setting, but 2KPro's stock telnet server is very basic.
