VBA code for for telnet

all,

I have a ip address in cell J5 on sheet1 called variables. How do I make that particular cell to be active so that whenever I click on that button it telnets using that ip in cell J5.

In the below mentioned code i have to manually select the cell J5 so it becomes active, so it can telnet.



Private Sub CommandButton1_Click()

Shell "path of .exe /t telnet://" & ActiveCell, vbNormalFocus

End Sub
