Teeny WinExplorer Thumbnails?

I used to be able to see a reasonably sized thumbnail of an image
or video file when using Windows Explorer. Recently the thumbnails
have reduced themselves to a very teeny size making it impossible
to preview a resource without loading it.

Does anybody know how to restore thumbnails to their previous
size or otherwise modify the size they are displayed in Windows Explorer?

Use TweakUI - one of the XP Powertoys from (if you have installed XP
SP1)
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp

If you have not installed SP1, the earlier version can be found at
http://download.microsoft.com/download/whistler/Install/2/WXP/EN-US/TweakUiPowertoySetup.exe

Once installed you will find it in Start - All Programs - Powertoys for
Windows XP

Its Explorer - Thumbnails allows you to specify the size - up to 250
pixels. Also there is a slide for Quality. Be warned not to set that
more than about 2/3 up, or the thumbnails will appear as through grey
fog
