A few weeks ago I had a frustrating problem that I needed to solve
right away, so I went to www.tech24.com. I signed up and gave my
credit card number. After waiting about 15 minutes, a Tech24 person
came online and said they were too busy to help me and that I should
come back in a couple of hours. In the next hour I solved the problem
myself, so I went about trying to get my money refunded. I wrote
several emails to Tech24 - no response! I wrote a snail mail letter to
Tech24 - no response! They did not answer any of my attempts to
communicate with them, and they did not refund my money. Fortunately,
American Express did refund the money to save the expense of an
investigation.
I don't know whether Tech24 offers useful advice, but I do know that
they are not an honest company. If you have to deal with them, make
sure you have a good credit card company that will refund your money,
if necessary.
