I am currently having this with 300DPI print head. Is it possible to convert
this printer into 600DPI just installing a new printhead? Thanks

You'd need the software and electronics to support it. Probably cheaper to
buy a new printer.
 
So it is not as simple as just remove the printhead and replace with a new
one, right?
What kind of software and electronics you are referring to?
