TCP/IP Failure

Something happened to my computer and I can't figure it
out. the TCP/IP protocol stopped working on my network
card. It will not pull an ip address from the dhcp server
nor will it communicate with anything when I give it a
static address. I've uninstalled and reinstalled tcp/ip
along with the network card. I've also installed a new
network card. It looks like everything but tcp/ip is
working. Any ideas. Also at the same time my printer
subsystem stopped working. The printers screen shows no
printers installed and it also will not let me add a
printer. Err message: "Printer Operation cannot continue
due to lack of resources. The print subsystem is
unavailable". I've ogt plenty of memory and nothing else
is running.
Any ideas?

Thanks

sounds like a fried motherboard to me.

also, why don't you check your event viewer

start - run - type in eventvwr

you will probably find an answer to your troubles.

Unfortunatly, I dont think it is your montherboard. I
have had this exact same problem several times and have
only one solution so far, rebuild your operating system
on your computer. As soon as you reinstall your win 2k,
it will start working again. If you get an actuall fix
to this, please let me know.

thanks,
DAVE
