If it is a mission critical thing, and you don't get a definitive answer to
say that it will work without problems, my advice would be to wait until
after you have got your tax returns (or whatever) sorted out in April before
upgrading.
You have nothing much to gain by rushing into an upgrade, and quite a lot to
lose(I imagine) if your Tax Software fails to work properly with Vista...

Unless Vista has some features that you NEED now, why not wait a few months
before upgrading anyway? Give it time for all the drivers to be finished,
and some of the bugs to be ironed out.

I'm using Turbo Tax Deluxe. I don't save files to the program,
they're saved to a separate hard drive and when I check for updates I run as
administrator, other times as a standard user. Up to this point I've had no
conflicts or malfunctions. Have a great day.

I just installed Tax Cut on my Vista Ultimate and had no problems. It
connected to the internet and downloaded and installed some updated files.
I don't have all my tax data yet so I haven't started a return yet but I
don't expect any problems.

I installed turbo Tax on Vista Business with no problems. I have completed
several tax returns, again with no problems. To update the Turbo Tax files,
you need to "Run as Administrator"

I have mine already installed under XP Prof - are you saying that you need
to do a new install under Vista?
