tasks not working?

I just downloaded a trial version of outlook 2007 and I can't seem to test
out any of the functions. I'm wondering if this is because it's a trial run
or do I need to do something to activate all the features?

Can you please be more specific. What exactly is not working for you? What
is it doing?
