Tasks in HTML format

Hi,

I'm just wondering if Outlook Tasks allow for HTML format?

I have a PHP script that sends out emails, which then get converted into
tasks. The messages are being sent in HTML format, but the tasks that are
getting created appear in the plain text format.

Any one got any ideas?

No. Task bodies use RTF format only. You didn't say how the tasks are being created, but doing RTF formatting programmatically takes extra libraries in Outlook.

Thanks for the reply Sue,

The tasks are getting created by emails that are being sent in, then a
outlook rule turing them into a task, using a VBA.

If I can't use HTML format for the tasks, is it possible to make some of the
information contained in the task body not editable?

Cheers

No. The entire body is always editable.

Ok, that now affects my plans somewhat.

Another feature of the tasks I want, is for them to have some sort of
formatting.

Things like font size & colour, bold etc, would be great to implement in the
task body.

Because tasks are in RTF I guess this is possible.

Have any ideas?
