tasks duplicate when archive folder is open

When my archive folder is opened, all my tasks are duplicated. When I close
my archive folder, the duplicates go away. However, everytime I archive my
email, it opens my archive folder and duplicates my tasks. I also like to
keep my archive folder open so I can check in there for an old email I may
need. Any ideas on how to solve this problem? Thanks
I have Outlook 2007
