I was wondering why my taskmanager doesn`t run anymore
when i press Ctrl Alt Del, basicially i see the icon on
the bottom right corner of the screen, and then it
disapeers within a couple seconds. My comp has been doing
this for a few weeks now.

w32.spybot worm disables NAV, Msconfig, Regedit and Task Manager:

Try this to:

Rename regedit.exe to regedit.com then:

Download then Merge the edit on line 251 then delete all the files mentioned
in the above link.
