Taskmanager shows client process as system

We have a Windows 20000 WTS-Server with several clients connecting.
One client shows a strange behaviour: every task he runs appears as a
SYSTEM process in the task Manager. All other clients behave normally.
He is not a member of a administrative group and his account is the
same as one of the other users.
Any suggestions how to turn the client tasks back into "real" user
tasks?

If you start up a command prompt, and you do an "echo %
username%" (without the quotes) what do you get?

Hi Matthew,
thanks for your reply.

%username% shows the real username. It's strange: every task like
winword.exe, acrotray.exe and other tasks started by this user seems
to be SYSTEM-Tasks - not one single exception.

This is a pretty cool malfunction. So since the user is
identified as a the system, do they also have elevated
privileges?
