TASKMANAGER and REGEDIT WON'T STAY OPEN

I don't know if I have a virus or something, but my
taskmanager doesnt stay open for more than a second and
then closes by itself. Same thing with regedit. I have
run a virus scan but that didnt come up with anything.
Is there any other way to see what processes are running
and to stop them if there is a process running that is
causing this problem? Please help.

See my answer to your later post. You have a virus that your AV software
isn't catching, or is able to "hide" from it.

Sounds to me like you might have kazaa installed. You
probably cant get into internet options either. You can
use reghance from Lavasoft to getinto the registry to try
to clean things up. I wish I could remember exactly what
I did to fix it. Try a search for regedit & task manager.
