Taskbar - quicklaunch

Can you can help me please
On bootingup my quicklaunch toolbar is always on the taskbar but now it is
not there.
I can right click taskbar click toolbars then quicklaunch and get it back
but this is a nuisance.
Can you help me keep it on top

What happens if you right click the taskbar, choose
properties and check the box that says "show quick
launch"? Does quick launch remain after reboot then?
