TASKBAR PROBLEMS

Hi! When I start programs in WinXP, I don't see the
respective taskbar button displayed. These buttons used
to be visible. Now, I can only use Alt-Tab to switch
between programs. Anyone encountered and fixed the same
problem before? Thanks!

I HAVE HAD ALL THESE SAME PROBLEMS FOR A COUPLE OF MONTHS AND IT'S DRIVING ME BATTY.
ANYONE WHO CAN FIX THIS PROBLEM, I WILL KISS THEIR FEET!!!!!!
