If it's not a mail checker or antivirus programme that's doing a chec
then doing a virus and spyware scan would be a wise thing to do
Note Messenger runs and lurks in the background whether on line or no
nothing to do with this by any chance..
One thing to do is to see the running process in task manager
pressing Control, Alt & Delete together as soon as it comes on
