Taskbar Latency

Windows XP running on a P4 with 512MB of RAM. If it's
left unattended, the screensaver kicks in which is
password protected. After I log back in, it takes about
5 seconds for the taskbar to show up. Anyone experience
this kind of delay? And this is with no applications
running. Seemed to start happening only after SMS was
installed.

I notice it when I first bootup. It seems like the task bar always appears
last.
