Taskbar keeps resetting on reboot

Hi All

I am using XP Home and have an issue. I set the Taskbar
properties to be

Autohide = YES
Always On Top = NO

This works fine for the rest of the session, but when I
reboot the system resets during initilisation and the
Taskbar properties are

Autohide = NO
Always on Top = YES.

I have booted with all Startup programs disabled to see if
one of these was the culprit but the problem persists.

Does anybody know if there is a service or setting in the
system that may be causing this.

Regards
Mark

In addition, run this edit, set the taskbar to your liking, then reboot:

Save Settings on Exit (Line 54)

To use the Regedit: Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it
and answer yes to the import prompt. REG files can be viewed in Notepad by
right clicking on the file and selecting Edit.
