Autohide taskbar setting.

I always have autohide set on the taskbar, with the
taskbar at the top of my screen. At least every other
day the taskbar stops "autohiding". It displays over the
top of all apps, which prevents me from using the "-" to
minimize, or the "x" to close, etc.. When I open the
taskbar properties, autohide is still checked. I have to
uncheck it, click on the Apply button, check it again,
click on the Apply button again and then it works. One
or two days later, I go through it all again.

I have not been able to tie this behavior to the use of
any specific application. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Don't know if this is your case or not, but I have that problem after
visiting Yahoo game rooms. I suspect the java application that runs
these games but cannot prove it.
